Do not know if this the connection, but Malott & Delashmutt are two that I have, and this is what I have in my records.

Theodorus Malott m. Cathrine Maple abt 1719. Their daughter Mary b.abt 1727 married James Walling, Jr. in Maryland.

James Walling Jr. parents were James Walling Sr. (b. 2 apr 1705) and Mary Delashmutt (b abt 1706) and they were married in 1726 in Maryland.

So I have the Cathrine, but she is a Maple, and I have Theodorus Malott. The Delashmutt is married to a Walling.

Gene
