Mary;
You probably have this info already... I'm about a year behind you on my research. Here's what I have come up with:

Margaret McDaniel, born 1814, VA, (sister of JAMES McDANIEL) married (1) Solomon Mace (I think it was Solomon).
Children of Margaret McDaniel and Solomon Mace are:
~Jacob Mace, born 1841, IL (LDS states Jacobs' mother was
"Margaret").
~Job Mace, born 1844, Crawford Co., IL (LDS states Jobs'
mother was "Margaret").
~Keziah D. Mace, born 1847, IL (LDS states Keziah's mother
was "Margaret").

Sarah "Sally" Mace, born 9/24/1823, Ross Co., OH, died 6/1/1905, Ross Co., OH, buried Grandview Cemetery, Chillicothe, Ross Co., OH, married on 9/21/1843, Ross Co., OH to ROBERT WILSON AUGUSTUS. He was born 4/28/1819, Union Twp., Ross Co., OH, died 5/2/1867, Ross Co., OH, buried Grandview Cemetery, Chillocothe, Ross Co., OH.

The above SARAH "Sally" MACE appears in the 1850 Crawford County, Illinois census with Margaret McDaniel-Mace, Jacob, Job and Keziah...and all living in the same home as James McDaniel (Margaret's brother), Mary Jane McDaniel, Rebecca D. McDaniel and Caroline McDaniel (my G-G-Grandmother...I have pictures of her).

Solomon Mace owned 40 acres of land in Palestine, Crawford County, Illinois on 1/1/1850.

Now, here's the good part:
Margaret McDaniel-Mace married (2) Jeffrey Delapp on 10/14/1850, Crawford Co., Illinois.
He was born 1828, Palestine, Crawford Co., Illinois to Jeffrey Delapp and Nancy Starr, who were married 8/13/1827, Crawford Co., Illinois.

Then I found the two marriages for Solomon Mace:
~(1) to Sarah "Sally" Short, 2/23/1822, Ross Co., OH
~(2) to Margaret McDaniel, 8/12/1838, Ross Co., OH

I am getting somewhere with this information and, as I said, you probably have it already. Wondering if you have found anything else. Sorry I am so late in getting back with you on this.
Bob Aswell
