Jesse,
I do not thnk this Frederick is your Fred N. Delanoy. I do show a Fred N. Delanoy b: 1850 married to a Jesse or Jennie H. ? b: 1875 (probably a second wife) and a son Jesse L. This info is from the 1920 census of Alameda, CA.

I have not determined who's line Fred N. is connected to as I just found this info a few days ago in my research.
I am in the process of trying to connect every Delanoy I possibly can back to our ancestor Abraham Delanoy b: abt 1616 and living in New Amsterdam (now New York)in the 1650's. Knowing Fred might be from Hartford, CT could be very helpful in locating him in a census there in one of the 1800's census reports. I will look for him and let you know if I find anything. Meanwhile if you have any other Delanoy info you would be willing to share please contact me at my e-mail address.
