From "Genealogy History & Alliances of the American House of Delano 1621-1899," p.294,461,478: Jethro, 12th child of Lt. Jonathan Delano & Mercy Warren, b. 31 July 1701. Jethro Delano, Sr. m. 1st Elizabeth Pope in Dartmouth, MA 9 Oct 1727; m. 2nd Deliverence Eldred (no date given). Deborah Delano, 6th child of Jethro, Sr., b. 11 May 1739, d. Quaker Hill, Dutchess Co., NY; m. Benjamin Sherman in Dartmouth, MA 17 June 1758. Deborah & Benjamin Sherman had 11 children.
Lt. Jonathan Delano was the 4th son of Philippe De La Noye & Hester Dewsbury.
