The Jabez delano you speak of married his
cousin Mary Delano, daughter of his dad's
brother John Delano and Mary (Weston) Delano,
Feb 08, 1710, Duxbury, MA. She died in April
1716 after bearing him two children. He then
married Hannah Peckham, daughter of Stephen
Peckham and Mary Pope, who bore him eight
more children and died in 1742 in Dartmouth,
MA. Jabez Delano died in Dartmouth in 1735.
Perhaps the fact that there are over 20 known
Jabez Delano's might have added to the confusion. If you need a descendancy from
this family, I might be able to help you.
