Thank you for the info. I'm sure that Daniel Tucker is the Daniel T. that I have been searching for. The following is the reference to Daniel T. and Harriet Laughton Boynton from their son, Joshua B.'s 1886 bio from Knox Co., IL.

The parents of our subject were Daniel T. and Harriet O. (Louton) Boynton, natives of Maine. The father was of Irish and the mother of English ancestry. The grandfather of our subject was in the war of 1812. The parents of Mr. Boynton removed to Ohio, and thence to Fort Wayne, Ind., at which place the mother died. The father still survives and is a resident of Kansas.

That is all I had to work with for a long time, and you will notice the wrong spelling of Harriet's last name and the Irish ancestry claim.

Does the Delano book have anything else on this family?

Thank you again for responding.
