Family History! A Samuel DENO of Philadelphia, PA, my great Grandfather, said that either he (or some-one in the Deno family) came from France, after hot-footing it out of Ireland, where a price was on his head from the British. He was a "General" and there was a castle in Ireland. He/someone changed the name to Deno from DELANEY. Prior to 1850.
Sound Familiar? Or is this an Irish Myth?
