Searching for information on Eddie (Jack) DELANEY. He was born 10 Oct 1896 in Garrison, Benton Co., Iowa. Parents were James Edward (Edward/James C.?) DELANEY and Lottie QUIGLEY (Mary L.?). Eddie may have had a stepmother named Eva Florence MAY, born 1898 in Belle Plaine, Iowa, and halfbrothers, Lester MAY and Leo Cedrick.

In 1922-1925 Eddie worked for the county near Peterson, Iowa. In 1939-1940 he cooked and shepherded on ranches west of Glasgow, Valley Co., Montana (Etchart Ranch, Etchepares Ranch) and from 1941 to 1946 on ranches from Opheim, Valley Co., Montana to Scobey, Daniels Co., Montana (Bonnie Belle Ranch; Spears Ranch; and Orval Honrud Ranch). 1946 to 1947 he was a farm laboror at the Ole Fossum Farm in Glasgow, MT.

On 4 Aug 1943 he married Elouise Grace LABREE in Scobey, MT. They had the following children: Gail Dean, Richard Eddie, and Sally Ione.

Elouise LABREE was born 25 May 1925 in Crookston, MN. Guardians of Elouise were Oscar and Kate Sodnak of Richland, Montana (1933-1943). Elouise died 23 September 1991 in Burbank, CA.

They lived in many places, but it is known they lived in Glasgow, MT; Williston, ND; and Stanley, ND.

It is hearsay that Eddie DELANEY may have been an accomplice in a bank robbery in Missouri in 1914. In 1951-52, he was seen back in Glasgow, MT.

Any information would certainly be appreciated. Thank you.
