My mother's maiden name was Delaney, she was born and raised in Boleybeg, Abbeyleix, Laois in 1923/4. Her Father Michael Delaney was from Clock in Laios. He had a number of brothers who emigrated to Waterbury, Connecticut in the 1920's. My mother is still alive and would be delighted to receive or provide further information.
