Seeking info on my ggm, Elizabeth (Eliza) DELANEY, born somewhere in Ireland in abt. 1841. Father was Patrick DELANEY, farmer who died before 1868. Eliza may have had a brother or cousin named Mako or Maks DELANEY. Eliza went to Birkenhead, Eng. (near Liverpool) bef. 1868, married Francis (Frank) GRIMES or GREAMS in the Catholic church there. Had one child, Mary, in England in 1869, then moved to NY state and had Peter, Elizabeth, Bridget (called Delia or DeeDee) during the 1870s. Moved to Denver, CO. by 1881 and had William James (my gf), Kathryn (Kate), Anastasia & possibly 3 more who died in infancy or childhood. Especially interested in info on where the family came from in Ireland, but all info on the family is welcome!
