Looking for information on my g-gp, Emmet Skeens, parents. His father was George W. Skeens (b. 1848 d.1938). Mother's last name was Delaney. Macoupin Co., Illinois birth record for Emmet shows her name as Nancy B., as does tombstone in Pulliam Cemetary near Modesto, IL (b. 1845 d.1926). However, social security application form has her name as Martha Belle. Emmet was born in Macoupin Co. in 1877. No record of George & Nancy/Martha in 1860 census. May have come from Kentucky. Any help would be appreciated.
