We are trying to locate any family or relatives of the former 1920's boxing great from St. Paul, Minnesota, Jimmy Delaney. Jimmy was born in St. Paul around 1900, and died very young from blood poisoning in 1927. He was married to Rose Firnette and they had a son, Jimmy Jr who was born around 1925 or so. Other family info I know of is that Jimmy's parents were Patrick & Nora Delaney of St. Paul, MN. He brothers were: John & Patrick, and his sister was Leonora. Jimmy is a candidate for induction into the Minnesota Boxing Hall of Fame and we are trying to track down any family of his. Please reach out if you can be of help. Thank you.
