I dont know a lot about Alice Delaney apart from the following:
She was wife of John Grandy (Captain John) born in Duncannon 1808. Any information about him would be great as well if you have anything on him, apparently his father was Richard Grandy. John married Alice Delany in Waterford 1837. I think she was born about 1821. I think Alice died at Whitechapel, East London, 4 July 1875. She was then living at 16 Butlers’ Buildings. Her death certificate describes her as “widow of John Grandy, sailor, merchant service”, and states that she was 53 years old. However, the 1871 census gives her age as 70.
