John D. Delaney

I have read the postings regarding the Delaney's from east Tennessee. In reference to John D. Delaney whom was a settler of the Nolichuckey River area and recieved land there for service in the Rev War.

I know for a fact that there was a John Delaney that was a soldier in the NC state line and recieved land in North Carolia. I also know that John D. Delaney had land I believe in Wake County North Carolina.

One post said that John Delaney had received a pension! Does anyone have a copy of this? I'm asking because NARA had sent back a negative search request on a Bounty Land Application!

Thanks for any help!

Jean Stamm
