Delaney, Nov. 21, 2007, age 73, retired Battalion Chief of the Chicago Fire Department, devoted husband of JoAnne Delaney, nee Colman; loving father of Deborah (Bruce) Nolte, Patricia (John) Linge, Kevin and Jean (Duane) Bennett; cherished grandfather of nine; proud great-grandfather of four; beloved brother of Kathleen (Dennis) Mannix, Maureen (Ron) Wiegand, Donna (Wayne) Rice, Eileen (Don) Goodwin, Denise Gartland, Mary Wheatley, Michael (Patricia), Dennis (Cheryl) and the late Julia (Bob) Ginner; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Monday, 9:30 a.m. at the Petkus Lemont Funeral Home, 12401 S. Archer Ave. (at Derby Rd.), Lemont, to St. Patrick Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery.
