Delaney, John Francis 57, of Chicago, formerly of Maywood. Entered into Eternal Rest on July 30, 2006, following an injury. Loving brother of his twin sister, Virginia "Ginny", Kathleen "Kay" Martin, Sharon (Don) McElhaney, Marie (Richard) Glidewell, David (Roberta), Mike (Mary), Walter, Howard (Barbara), James and the late William Jr. (the late Darlyne), fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his beloved parents, William Sr. and Mary Delaney. John never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation 3 to 9 p.m., Thursday, at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 W, Madison St., Forest Park, IL (two blocks west of Harlem), where Service and Remembrance will be held at 7 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Old Town School of Folk Music, 4544 W. Lincoln Ave., Chicago, IL 60625 appreciated. Info: 708-366-2200.
