I am interested in the Delaney family (Thomas and Elizabeth Brown Delaney---parents of 12 children)that purchased land in Hudson/Lyons in 1841. I believe Thomas from Kilkenny, may be related to Julia Delaney DUNN, originally from Castlecomer, Kilkenny. Julia immigrated with sons Kieron, Thomas & John DUNN, first to Montreal, then at least one son to Wisconsin. Julia may have died before 1852. Her husband Patrick DUNN lived in Waterford, Racine, WI in 1852 and was searching for the boys. Patrick & his 2nd wife Katherine/Kate MULLEN lived in both Walworth & Racine Counties--daughter Mary moved to Rock County. Any links here? Do you know which city/county in Ireland your Delaneys are from?
