But note the following: 1) William Delaney's handwritten death certificat from Sault Ste. Marie, completed by George Delaney, dated April 1, 1918, states that William's father was James Delaney and his mother's maiden name was Sarah McCoy, but that 2) George Delaney's handwritten death certificate from Meaford, Grey County, completed by a Sarah Delaney (his wife?), dated April 27, 1930, states that his father's name was James Delaney and his mother's maiden name was Sarah Dunn. ??? Both certificates are online.
A few questions: 1) Do you know when and where James and Sarah Delaney married? and 2) when and where they died? and 3) How did you determine that Sarah's maiden name was McCoy?
