I have both GREENs and DELENEYs in my family.
George DELANEY b. abot 1830 in Ireland, m. Ellen FOLEY, also b. Ireland about 1832. Arrived in NY from Liverpool abt. 1851. Lived in Norwich, CT until 1860 when I found Ellen and 3 children, George, William, and Ellen in Hartford. In 1870 census the family of three were in Northampton and ten years later in Holyoke, unable to find out where Ellen Foley died. Also havae searched for George Sr. who died a few years after arriving in U.S.
I have more info. on Delaney, Colby, Green, all in western mass or CT.
