Who was the father of William Delaney who married Martha Grimes in 1814 in Abbeville, South Carolina? There was a John Dulaney in that area in 1800. I have wondered if these might be children of the William Delaney who died in Wilkes Co., Ga. in 1782 leaving a widow and three children, and whos records were in both Georgia and South Carolina. This William was related to Daniel Delaney/Dulaney of Pendleton, South Carolina. I have records that prove a connection.
