Alphonsus or Alphonse was my grandfather's (James J. Delaney, Jr.) 1st cousin..born Ire 1840's, died 1933 at Ballyfin College, near Portlaoise. He was a Patrician Brother in Tullow, Co. Carlow. As I believe his father and my greatgrandfather were brothers, his faternal grandfather would be my great great grandfather.
James Sr. came to US in mid-lt 1800's, married Helen Mooney newly from Ireland..They had James, John Alphonse, William, Ann & Catherine
