I'm fascinated by your message. I see several names that have been repeated in my father's family. My grandmother was
Josephine Delaney (d.Oct.1959). She came from a large family and one of her sisters "ellie" came to NYC with her. Josephine C. Delaney married Thomas Boyle and had three sons: Charles, George
Thomas and Joseph. (see where the names are repeated). Could this be my grandmother's family? I noted that there was no Josephine but maybe the families were related?
Would love to know more about your search. I'm at a dead end and there are no relatives alive to ask.
