My grandmother, Josephine Delaney, was
born in Wisconsin. She was one of several
children (one was a sister Ellen, "Ellie").
She and Ellie came to NY and Josephine
married Thomas Boyle. They lived in NYC
(along with Ellie who never married). Tom
and Josephine had 3 sons: Charles, George, and Joseph. George was my father. I don't have any other information about Josephine and wonder if, in your search, you've come upon many Delaneys in Wisconsin and if perhaps any of these names are familiar or seem to have been repeated in any of the families you've come across. Josephine died in October 1959.
