Searching for details on my GGM, Catherine DELANEY. Information recently found from shipping log. Arrived Sydney 1856 aboard 'BEE'. Log says aged 19, from Templederry, Ireland, so born about 1836/1837. Log says Father and Mother both dead. Father Andrew, mother Catherine CORMACK (sp?). Appears she may have travelled with a sister, Ellen, 22. Log says relatives in Sydney, Anne and Mary TIERNEY. Would appreciate any help. (Ellen's log entry does not show Templederry and is part erased but could be ?sp? Gowran?. Family history in Ireland for Catherine unknown so far.
[Previous information suggested mother died when Catherine very young, but father remarried and Catherine and new step mother did not agree. Anecdotal only.]
