My gggrandmother was born in Kentucky. Her name was Maria Elizabeth Delaney. I believe she married my gggrandfather, John D. James, sometime between 1850 and 1856. My ggrandfather, John David James was born in Tennesee on October 21, 1856. The Kentucky Census of 1850 lists a Mariah Delaney (aged 26) in the household of Rhoda Delaney (aged 60) of Union County. Also in the household was a younger sister Emily (aged 21). Other documents indicate that Rhoda's husband was named Henry F. Delaney.
Does anyone have any definite information about the family of Henry F. and Rhoda Delaney?
