I am searching for the parents of William H. Delancey & Catherine Fair. --Both from PA.
There IS another William H. Delancey from PA that is the s/o Conrad Raymond DeLancey & Sophia Shover. That's who I orginally thought my William was --they even have simuliar dob. I'm pretty sure that MY William is somehow related to them. I was even told there were Delancey sons of Conrad's 'ancestor line' that moved to Berkeley CO, WV from PA. There is no proof that the sons that moved to WV ever had children though. Francis (French spelling Francois) DeLancey I (1724-1811) is possibly an acestor to William Delancey. Or he could be related to Stephen (French spelling Etienne) DeLancey of New York City, NY (actually Manhattan back then). They are both ancestors of Conrad Delancey.

Catherine lived in the same town & county as William in 1860. She's listed in the 1870 & 1880 with William. So she died aft. 1880 but before 1900. It looks like she may have been indexed twice in 1860 with different people. The one i have written down she is on the same street as William.
