Nicole -- don't know of any Loyalist Brigades started by someone named Richard DeLancey -- but the DeLancey's were wealthy Loyalists who used their infuence and power to support the Brits. Oliver was the Quartermaster General of the British Army who also backed a Loyalist Brigade with his money. A nephew, Stephen, was known as the Outlaw of the Bronx and headed a band that fought in Conn & Westchester County, NY
