Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Sad to say, we're not sure our information will be of any use to you. Lawrence Delahunty doesn't appear in any part of our "Tree". But here is a brief outline of what we do have in case you still want to pursue this lead: Two Delahunty/Delahanty (a name change along the line) brothers, John and James, married two sisters circa 1825. The Fanning Sisters. James, from whom my wife Angela is descended, and almost all of his side of the family remained to this day in Kilkenny, Ireland. An unknown number of John's children emmigrated to the US. One, Patrick who was born about 1860, remained in Ireland. If any of this sounds familiar, let us know and can go on in more detail.
Thanks and good luck. John (Dennis) Donovan
