Lillian:

Look up DELAHUNT in - www.canada411.com - using New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. You will notice 9 listed in NB, most around Moncton and area, which is only hour drive from Amherst, NS across the border. In the listings for NS, there are only 10 names, with about 5 of those in the capital city area of Halifax, Dartmouth, and Lower Sackville. Another 3 are in Amherst and Maccan area. This seems to fit with your idea that most Delahunt's were connected with Halifax, Amherst and New Brunswick. I'm sure all these people are related to one another, and likely to you. Try giving them a call to see what they know. Mention any information you have and ask them if anyone in the NB or NS side of the family has gathered info over the years. NS and NB time is ONE HOUR LATER than US Eastern Time. Good luck !
