My husband is the decendent of Jesse H. Brown and Mary Dekle. I believe she is the daughter of Littleton Dekle, but have not found proof yet (unless you want to call that family stubborn streak proof!!) I know nothing about the Dekle's except what I'm finding on the Internet. Do you know if your grandma had a sister named Mary born around 1836? Mary was born in Emanuel,Ga., but moved to Volusia, Fl. between 1850-1860.
