question re/ Martha, dau. of Daniel & Martha (Ford)

I'm hoping some of you good researchers can help me with this mystery. Daniel and Martha Ford had a daughter Martha. She is named in Daniel's Will dated 1754. She also signed some deeds in 1759 using the name of Martha Degernet along with Richard Perryman, her brother Elias and others. In 1762, Richard Perryman deeds some land and his wife, MARY, relinquishes her right of dower. Then, in 1780, Martha is named as Martha Perryman--deceased-- in her mother's Will.
So, was Richard Perryman married to Martha's sister Mary--(or another Mary) and then he married Martha? Does anyone have a marriage for Richard Perryman to a Mary or to a Martha?
Thanks for your help. Joan Hatch glh@redrock.net
