Since your post is old you probably have all this stuff by now but ..............
I have Polly Caroline Dietz b. 12 January 1829 d. 9 January 1899; m. John Whisenhunt. Polly was the daughter of Solomon (Jr.) and Elizabeth Dietz. Solomon Jr. was the son of Solomon Dietz (Sr) and Anna Krimmer. Elizabeth was the daughter of Jacob Dietz and Sarah Killian. Solomon (Sr) and Jacob were two of a set of brothers (John, Jacob, Frederick, Solomon, Michael) who moved to Hickory Tavern from Philly around 1790. They were sons of Johan Frederich and Catherine Christina (Rissler)Dietz. Solomon and Jacob were born in Philadelphia. Solomon Jr. and Elizabeth were both born in Lincoln Co. NC (now Catawba Co.). Jacob is my Great-great-great-great grandfather.
