According to the 1860 census records, my g-g-g-great grandfather, Leonard Deitrich was found in Wayne Twp. Crawford County in northwestern PA. According to the 1860 census Leonard was born in PA. Abt. 1806. His son Daniel is found in neighboring Canal Twp. Venango Co. for the 1850 census as D. Deeters. Names also spelled Deitrick, Deeter & Dieter.

Details from his will:
Leonard Deitrich of the township of Wayne in the Country of Crawford and State of Pennsylvania.
wife Lydia Deitrich
known children as mentioned in his will are:
son, Daniel Deitrich
three daughters,
Sarah Slaten, wife of John Slaten,
Lucy Boyer wife of Henry Boyer,
Elizabeth Shofstall of Elijah Shofstall
It is not currently known where my family moved from prior to being found in Crawford Co. in northwestern PA in the mid 1800's.
Any information about possible ancestors or descendants of Leonard, or referral to someone that may be able to help with my search, would be greatly appreciated.
