Hi Rose,

I have only looked at census records, online indexed record info and some baptismal registers. I have been collecting this kind of data, but have not had time to put all of the pieces together. I have seen a William in several records.

The William I refer to here is the son of Louis. I cannot find the link (yet) to this Louis and Lewis/Louis/Aloysius who lived next to him, but I think they are probably father and son. (Louis also has a son whose name is spelled Lewis in the census.) Assuming this to be correct, Richard is a younger son from the second wife of "Lewis", and would be William's uncle.

In the 1870 Harrison Twp census William age 23, a sailor, is living with Louis. There is a Wm. who married a Mary Thomas in 1873.

Is this your William?

Are you looking for living relatives or earlier ancestors?

I have more info on the earlier ancestors if that is where the interest lies - if you do not already have that information.

Feel free to contact me.
