Thanks so much for your reply Donald. So many genealogy researchers want to deal with "their" line...not siblings to their line...often it is just the male genealogy. I feel this is a mistake. We all want to know more than b,m,d..what role did history play in their lives?..how did their church social scene mark their lives?..who did their children marry? If one researches other lines such as their wives genalogy, it is amazing how it all comes together.
So you have info on two of their children that may be important. Do you have b,m,d info that may be helpful? I will come back to you with what ever story your info leads to. Mersereau/Mercereau Staten Island Genealogy has been a hobby for me since year 2000, and it makes my current time hand stripping, 30 years of stain off my garage and house, more appealing and rewarding.
I look foreward to your reply with interest.
Rae ( Aberta, Canada)
