this might get a little scary.

i am interested in finding a j. albin degraw for the same reason as you.

my father (deceased) never met his paternal father j. albin degraw. both j. albin degraw and a gertrude degraw are buried in missaukee county michigan. dates of death are 1885 and 1880 respectively.

the story that i hear is that the name degraw is not unusual in southeast michigan.

i am a texan but was born in grand rapids and have a lot of family back there.

i could not resist e-mailing you because we are close to the same vintage and the grand rapids connection creates a little mystery. let me know if you run into anything?
