I am also researching the DeGraw family in Middletown, NY. Known relatives are Edward DeGraw (died 1917 and is buried in Elmswood Cemetery in Bethel, Conn.) and wife Effie Ellen DeGraw (1845-1940) who died in Middletown, NY. Their daughter was Irene DeGraw Lewis (1879-1941?) born in Sparrowbush, NY and died in Middletown, NY. Irene married William DeGraw Lewis (1862-1924) born in Sparrowbush, NY and died in Middletown, NY. Relatives tell me that William and Irene may have possibly been distant cousins. Any links would be greatly appreciated.
