HI Ron,
Thanks for responding! I know my gram and most of family use DeGroff but sometimes he has been listed as DeGraff so I wasn't sure. Thank You for all the info you gave me, it has been very helpful but I haven't been able to find anything else on him, when he died or where he is buried. I think I found a listing for a divorce for him in a historical newspaper(late at night),thought I saved it but evidently didn't. A woman was suing a Herman DeGroff of NY for deserting her. Dates fit, he was still alive then. I found a lot more on Eugene. Does anyone still work on the family genealogy since your uncle died?
