Mr. De Groff, Many thanks for your additional comments about the proposed son Jan. I tend to feel that "Susannah b. about 1730" whom one sees included in Abraham and Lysbet's issue should also be treated with caution, unless some document to prove her existence turns up. With no baptism, no marriage record, and no will, I can't see how we could know whether or not such a daughter existed As for the theoretical daughter Elizabeth that was the reason for my inquiry, I have spent some time now working on this, and have found nothing whatever to support that she ever existed. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we did not have to view these long ago but not forgotten people "through a glass darkly"? Again my thanks for your very excellent help with this family.
