Hi Barbara,
I hate to repeat what you may have already done, but will give it a go., looked at your previous postings and see that you also are after James Nobel Degolyer, this is on Rootsweb.com, he married Mary Neal, and their pedigree is there.
It also shows that James Nobel is the son of Asiel Degolyer, (m., to Isabelle? )
On the familysearch.org, if you have been there, it shows a Asiel Noble Degolyer, b. 2ap. 1827, Mason, Warren, Ohio,
(several places given)
parents to Asiel(1827) Lauren Ford Degolyer with wife,
Sarah Taylor Nobel.
This could be the source of a naming pattern.
Lauren & Sarah had 15 children,
the first born being ASIEL NOBEL DEGOLYER. (1827).
1880 CENSUS, shows the same names as in your query for Asiel & isabelle.

Interesting side bar: Evalyn M. DeGolyer,
dau. of James Noble Degolyer, (b.1868) and Mary Neal(b.1870)
Evelyn b. 1894 in Rush co., Ind.
d. mar, 1983 in Knightstown, in.
buried, Glencove Cemetery,Knightstown, In.,
Evalyn worked as a telephone switchboard operator in Knightstown, Indiana for many years.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.

Hope some of this helps.
