In the process of annotating a transcription for a very old family-founded cemetery located in eastern NY, I ran across what I believe to be two DeGarmo burials. The first burial is for a Caroline DeGarms or DeGarmo, born 1834 and who either died or was buried on 02 Apr 1855 at 21y 11m 25d. She was the wife of Jacob DeGarms or DeGarmo. The second burial is for Peter M. DeGarms or DeGarmo, who either died or was buried on 6 March, 1855 at 6 months, 14 days of age. His parents were Caroline and Jacob DeGarms or DeGarmo. I do know there were DeGarmos living in this particular area during the Revolutionary War. If anyone recognizes these burials, I will gladly share their location privately. The cemetery they are located in is an enfangered one. Notify Administrator about this message?
