I transcribed the obit from microfilm at the Newberry Library in Chicago. Here it is: Chicago Daily News 21 Sept 1891 page 5
DEGAN - Sept 20 1891, HENRY DEGAN, age 57 yrs. Funeral from the residence of his son, Henry Degan jr. 493 N. Franklin St. Tuesday, Sept 22 at 10 o'clock to the church of the Immaculate Conception and thence by carraiges to Calvary. Syracuse (N.Y.) and Lowell (Mich) papers please copy.
