Looking for the ancestry of Joe Wilbur Degan who married Leona Ferguson. Joe was born 7 July 1913 and died 25 Dec 1992. He is buried at Hall County, Texas. Have talked with a son of Joe and Leona who states his father was Mitchell and mother is only remembered as Mittie. In the Dreamland Cemetery, Hall Co., TX is a Mrs. Mittie M. Degan born 1869 died 1943 and a Joseph M. Degan next to her born 1862 died 1942. I would believe that Joseph's middle name to be Mitchell. Would appreciate any help from the Degan families. Thank you in advance.
