I have received 30 pages of archived Documents from the Albany State Archives in NY written in 1880 by a Sargent descendant in connection as to who my Sarah Sisson Deforest's first Husband was. Sarah Sisson's 1st husband was believed to be William Deforest(b 1765-1778) and He was believed to have died by 1802.Sarah m(2) Thomas Sargent in Otsego Co, NY.
The only two Williams I can figure as the right William Deforest's were the William born 1778, son of Mehitable Curtiss and Benjamin Deforest of CT and another William b.? CT son of Nehemiah Deforest and Mary Lockwood, who is listed in LDS as marrying a Sarah Unknown by 1792.He was born a little earlier but not much than 1770.

Here is what is actually known about My Sarah Sisson Deforest(my gggg grandmother)
