Price Merchant DEFORD was the son of Edward. Edward resided in Queen Anne's and neighboring Caroline Co, MD. There was a Price M. DEFORD in the 1830 New London, CT census. There was no 1830 Queen Anne's County census. Price seems to have died before 1840 census was taken. If the family did indeed go to CT, they returned to Queen Anne's before 1850 where descendants of the family remain. Helen Armstrong's husband & I both descend from Charles Alfred DEFORD, son of Price M.
