I am seeking information on a Sarah Pitts, b. c 1754 Newberry Cty, SC, (once Berkeley I believe) daughter of Henry Pitts and Hannah Collier who married unknown Deas. Finding the above information on "a Sarah Deas" in the home of George Mitchum who states she is his mother-in-law made we wonder if perhaps this particular Sarah Deas might have been related to the Sarah Pitts Deas of about 100 years past, perhaps a granddaughter. We have never been able to acquire the given name of the Deas who married Sarah Pitts b. c. 1754. There is one thing known, that is, there are many sets of twins in the Pitts family. Also, many of the names in the above census are also names in the Pitts lineage. I would be most grateful if I could acquire some information on this elusive Sarah Pitts b. c. 1754 and her Deas husband.
