I previously posted a message(#184 on October 27, 2001) about Rebecca DEESE who was shown in the 1850 census with her three sons by Joseph THREATT, and they were living in the household of a Mark DEAS.
Since that posting, I have visted the graves of Rebecca and Joseph THREATT which shows she is buried beside Joseph near Jefferson, S.C. The inscription gave her date of death as December 1862, her age as 56 years.
If you know of anything concerning this family, I would appreciate it if you would contact me. I have quite a lot of information to share about Joseph and Rebecca's family.
