I'm looking for any info on my gr-gr-gr granfathers Josiah Deen (1829-1907) and James B. Deen (1822-after 1880). They both lived in the same general area of middle Tenn., both married Westbrook's, and both moved to Obion County after the civil war. Josiah married Siannian Westbrook, James married Louisa Westbrook. Were they brothers, cousins, or is this just a coincidence? I believe James' parents were Joseph and Jane Deen since Jane was living in James' household on the 1860 census. Any info that will help me sort out this "double helping" of Deen and Westbrook is greatly appreciated.
