Shadrick... that's funny. In my Turner line, there were three brothers, Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego. I was looking through my Deen records and found a letter sent to me about 6 years ago when I was on Prodigy from a Carol Chappell. It doesn't mention Shadrick, but here's what she said: Deen Family of Rankin Co, MS, came from Jackson Co, GA with the Pearce and Thomas families. They traveled on the Natchez Trace and arrived in Hinds Co, MS, by 1825. The head of this family was William Deen. While he was still in GA, he married Elizabeth Pearce, widow of Sherwood Pearce, daughter of William REDWINE 25JUN1818 in Franklin Co, GA. I wonder if this is my Nancy Deen's family? Sorry, I couldn't find anything about Shadrick.
