One of the earliest records in Arkansas Territory lists a will of THOMAS
DEAN of Arkansas County dated 30 Jan 1814. The Will was probated 4 July
1814 and Thomas Dean "leaves all estates to sister BETSY and her heirs,
except for the support of my aged father and mother during their life time."

Arkansas County Archives reveal that Thomas Dean was the son of SETH DEAN
of Clark County [AR]

Early Arkansas Tax List of the Counties of Arkansas in Territory of
Missouri 1814-16 lists:
1814 Seth Dean
1816 Jesse Dean

I have thought that the Jesse Dean/Deen that I am seeking is related to this Seth, but no proof as yet. Looking for any connection.
